Dispute resolution is a field that is implemented in the private and government workforce. Employees, leaders, and managers who possess the skills to resolve conflict through assist employees and managers find resolution become a valuable asset to the organizations. Because communication is the foundation upon which mediation is this course places heavy emphasis on communications, listening skills, display of empathy and interest-based negotiation. This course starts with an examination of the theoretical basis for ADR in light of communication theory. Then it focuses upon the effective application of theory and practice to achieve meaningful results and to managing conflict.
