Florida court requirement
Section 61.21, Florida Statutes
Parties to a dissolution of marriage involving minor children, and parties to certain paternity actions involving parental responsibility, must complete an approved Parent Education and Family Stabilization Course before final judgment unless excused by the court for good cause.
For dissolution actions, the petitioner generally must complete the course within 45 days after filing, and other parties generally must complete it within 45 days after service. Court-specific instructions may apply.

Completion requirements
Students must complete the course in its entirety and successfully pass the final knowledge check. A score of 70% or higher is required. Additional attempts are available when needed.
