Abuse takes many forms. One form less spoken about, yet established in our society is spiritual abuse. It can be easily mislabelled as spiritual zeal or even spiritual maturity and is devastating to its victims. It can appear in all faiths and in various forms - as interpersonal violence between a couple, from a leader of any faith inflicting abuse upon one single member, or a religious organization inflicting abuse upon an entire group.
