Appellate Court Mediation, No Show, Good Cause and Sanctions (1CME Appellate)

The course is eligible for 1 CME Appellate mediation. The presenter reviews the Florida Appellate Court Mediation Rules, Rule 9.700.9.740.  Discussions are centered on appearance of court ordered mediation, the duty of the mediators, parties, counsels and representatives,as well as sanctions the court may impose for failing to appear at a court ordered mediation conference after being dully noticed, where the nonappearance is not excused by the court and absence good cause.
