Florida Child Support Recorded Workshop (3CME, 1 Ethics)

This course highlights pertinent Florida Child Support guidelines, found at Florida Statute 61.30 and the use of the Florida Supreme Court approved Child Support Work Sheet, 12.902 (e). Participants will follow the manual preparation of form 12.902 as well as the execution of a web-based form found on the Florida Supreme Court Self Help Center, Family Forms. Family Mediators are likely to assist a divorcing couples with minor children with the negotiations involving the child support. It is therefore, imperative for the Family Mediator to understand and know how to calculate such support, available resources and applicable rules governing child support calculations in Florida.
