Interpersonal conflict is a natural and recurring aspect of everyday interactions in personal, academic, and professional environments. This 50‑minute presentation explores the nature of interpersonal conflict and introduces participants to a practical, easy‑to‑apply framework for conflict management known as the C.L.E.A.R. Concept—Communicate, Listen, Empathize, Assess, and Resolve.
The session examines common causes of interpersonal conflict, including differences in communication styles, values, expectations, and emotional responses. Participants will learn how unaddressed conflict can escalate and negatively affect relationships, productivity, and morale, as well as how intentional communication strategies can lead to positive outcomes.
Through guided explanations, real‑world examples, and brief reflective activities, participants will gain strategies to manage interpersonal conflict constructively. Emphasis is placed on building understanding, maintaining respect, and reaching mutually beneficial resolutions using the C.L.E.A.R. model. The presentation equips participants with tools they can immediately apply to navigate conflict more confidently and effectively.
