Short Course Description
Become a Qualified Federal-Sector EEO Neutral
This instructor-guided 20-hour program develops the legal knowledge, ethical judgment, mediation skills, and process competence needed for federal-sector EEO mediation under Management Directive 110, Chapter 3.
The program includes a modern interactive SCORM course, natural instructor narration, voiced party simulations, six required work products, a 20-question final assessment, and a live observed mediation practicum.
Completion requirements
- 20 active training hours;
- at least 80% on every module knowledge check and the final assessment;
- all required written and recorded work products;
- a 60- to 90-minute observed mediation scored at least 80/100; and
- no critical ethical failure.
Credential distinction: Course completion documents training and assessed practice. Agency appointment, roster acceptance, and the full qualification pathway may require separate verification of experience, evaluations, references, and agency-specific requirements.
Qualification Notice
Successful completion documents 24 instructional hours (2.4 CEU) and the required observed practicum. Completion does not by itself appoint or authorize a learner to serve as a federal-sector EEO neutral. The employing or appointing agency determines eligibility and may require additional co-mediations or independent mediations, positive evaluations, references, and agency-specific approval.
