Short Course Description
The purpose of this course is to provide an orientation and framework for clinicians who are interested in working with clients, both individuals and families, who are going through all stages of separation and divorce.

Dr. Alyse November
Dr. Alyse November, PhD, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker, psychotherapist, educator, presenter, mediator, and entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and professionals through life transitions, relationships, parenting, wellness, trauma, aging, and personal growth. She is the founder and CEO of Different Like Me, Inc., where she provides therapy, education, supervision, and professional development services.
Dr. November is licensed in multiple states and holds advanced certifications in EMDR, Brainspotting, sex therapy, transgender care, social work supervision, collaborative law, parenting coordination, and family mediation. Her professional background includes work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, older adults, healthcare systems, schools, and community organizations.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. November is a published author, presenter, volunteer, and former board leader with several professional and nonprofit organizations. She brings compassion, practical insight, and a strengths-based approach to coaching, helping clients gain clarity, build resilience, improve relationships, and move forward with confidence.
