Program Overview
A 24-hour federal workplace ADR and EEO program for managers, EEO and ADR professionals, HR and employee-relations staff. The program covers process routing, EEO concepts, ADR ethics, conflict diagnosis, mediation, interactive role practice, settlement documentation, prevention, and capstone quality.

Federal managers and supervisors; HR, employee-relations, EEO, labor-relations, and ADR professionals; mediators; and workplace-conflict practitioners.
Program Details
- Total program time: 24 hours
- Delivery: Instructor-guided cohort: 6 online + 18 live hours
- Instructor: ADR Academy / Guno O. Ritfeld and approved faculty, as assigned
- Passing standard: 80 percent plus all required work products
- Certificate: Issued after all completion requirements are verified

- Protect neutrality, voluntariness, confidentiality, fairness, and lawful role boundaries.
- Prepare and conduct a fair mediation process using interest-based methods and realistic role practice.
- Draft specific, authorized, enforceable terms and build preventive conflict-management capability.

- EEO Law, Theories, Remedies, and Manager Boundaries
- ADR Ethics, Neutrality, Voluntariness, and Confidentiality
- Conflict Diagnosis, De-Escalation, and Difficult Conversations
- Mediation Process, Interest-Based Negotiation, and Impasse
- Interactive EEO Workplace Simulation
- Settlement Agreements, Documentation, and Implementation
- ADR/EEO Program Quality, Prevention, and Capstone
Delivery and Completion
- Complete all eight modules and eight required applied work products.
- Pass every module knowledge check and the final assessment with at least 80 percent.
- Satisfy the active online-learning time and submit the course evaluation.
- Complete 18 instructor-led hours, required participation, role play/capstone, feedback, and instructor evaluation.
