Course Description
This course provides Florida mediators with practical and ethical guidance for conducting insurance claims mediation. Emphasis is placed on the ethical responsibilities of mediators, including neutrality, informed consent, confidentiality, party self‑determination, and professional conduct in insurance‑related disputes. Participants will examine common ethical challenges specific to insurance claims mediation and learn best practices for maintaining compliance with Florida Supreme Court mediator standards while facilitating fair and effective resolution.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify ethical obligations applicable to insurance claims mediation under Florida Supreme Court mediator standards.

I found the program too long and some of the issues were repetitive. Otherwise it provided a great deal of excellent information and insight into the world of insurance mediation.
