Teach students to master the most proven methods in project management as well as exciting new techniques emerging from current industry and today's most recent research. Throughout the text, students have opportunities to build strong portfolios to showcase their skills in future interviews as they create specific deliverables for real-world projects, whether from working by themselves or as part of a group.   Technology Prerequisites Students are not required to have advanced technical training or skills in order to be successful in the class. They should, however, feel confident about their ability to navigate through typical online websites and their ability to use common word processing software in order to submit written assignments. The minimum technical skills and the system requirements for this course:   System Requirements Computer/Technology Requirements Students will need regular access to a computer with a broadband Internet connection. The minimum computer requirements are:
  • Any current Flash-compliant browser (recent versions of Firefox or Safari)
  • Broadband connection (cable modem, DSL, or other high speed) required – courses are heavily video-intensive
  • Video display capable of high-color 16-bit display – 1024 x 768 or higher resolution
  • A sound card and speakers or headphones
  • Current anti-virus software must be installed and kept up to date.
  • Students will need some additional free software for enhanced web browsing. Be certain to download the free versions of the software.

Course Curriculum

GRitfeld

Guno Ritfeld is a retired Department of Defense Commissioned Officer. He has earned a B.A. in Psychology/Education, a Juris Doctorate (J.D.), and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree.

He is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Circuit Civil, Family, and County mediator and has served as a County mediator at the Orange County courthouse. He served as a member of the City of Orlando Certification Appeals Board and Chapter 57 Discrimination Board, and as a contract Human Rights Mediator and Administrative Investigator for various state and federal agencies. He is an experienced commercial, workplace, and family dispute mediator and arbitrator.
