New Supervisor Essentials Certificate Program
A 30-hour certificate program that gives new supervisors a practical foundation in role transition, communication, delegation, performance, accountability, conflict, inclusion, and ethical decision-making.
Offering at a Glance
- Duration: 30 instructional hours
- Delivery: Live Zoom cohort over 3 months: six 5-hour sessions, meeting every two weeks; breaks excluded

Learning Outcomes
- Transition from individual contributor to supervisor with clear priorities and boundaries.
- Set expectations, delegate, coach, document, and address performance concerns.
- Lead inclusive teams and respond constructively to conflict and change.
- Create a 90-day supervisory action plan grounded in organizational needs.
Completion Requirements
- Complete 30 active instructional and applied-learning hours.
- Participate in cohort activities, coaching, scenarios, and assessments.
- Submit the final action plan and meet the 80-percent completion standard.
Enrollment: Purchase enrolls one learner. Access, schedule, practicum, or cohort instructions are provided in the learner dashboard and by email as applicable.
