
Alison Bouwmeester, BA
Alison P. Bouwmeester spent a 28-year career as a senior leader in the Central Intelligence Agency’s Directorate of Operations (Clandestine Service), where she received the Career Intelligence Medal and the National Intelligence Certificate of Distinction. Following a full career of worldwide government service, Alison successfully transitioned to a private sector career as a senior business executive, rising to the level of Vice President for Business Development at both TASC and at Agilex Technologies. Alison also spent three years with Accenture Federal Services, bringing industry best practices, solutions, and expertise to government.
With a history of frequent and successful geographic and professional job transitions herself, Alison Bouwmeester is well-tooled to help individuals assess their own strengths/skills, and to navigate and flourish through periods of professional transition.
Alison graduated with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Political Science and Speech Communication. She currently serves on the Board of Advisors for the International Spy Museum, and as an Expert for The Cipher Brief.
Alison is a Certified Professional Career Coach with the Professional Association of Resume Writers/Career Coaches. She has a Certification in Designing Learning from the Association for Talent Development. Alison is an Authorized DISC Administrator and Behavioral Consultant. Her book, MISSION, CAREER TRANSITION - A Career Change Guide For Intelligence, Military, Foreign Affairs, National Security, and other Government Professionals, was published in July 2020.
