Participants will practice active listening, effective questioning, reframing, managing difficult behaviors, maintaining neutrality, identifying underlying interests, and helping parties develop workable solutions.
The training also addresses confidentiality, ethics, impartiality, professional boundaries, and situations in which mediation may not be appropriate. By the conclusion of the program, participants will have practiced the complete mediation process and developed skills that can be applied to a variety of workplace disputes.
