Short Course Description
The course teaches the governing rule. The lab makes the learner protect the rule while facts, people, deadlines, and institutional pressure collide. The companion course establishes the legal standard and source-verification habit. This specialty-tailored lab then places the learner in the role of Dana Brooks, Senior Employee Relations Specialist, to make and defend decisions across nine procedural gates. Coach/mentor assignment: Submit a score snapshot, one challenged decision, the controlling source, and a short corrective-action plan. The coach or mentor reviews reasoning—not simply the selected answer—and records recommended remediation. Completion standard: Finish all nine decision gates, complete the final process audit, and participate in the guided post-lab review. Open the private OPM HR 2.0 SkillForge Review Cohort for peer discussion, coach and mentor guidance, office hours, source-verification prompts, and agency monitoring.Case 001: Due Process Under Pressure
