Program Overview

A 40-hour executive-readiness program aligned to the revised OPM Executive Core Qualifications effective October 1, 2025. Participants develop executive judgment, enterprise perspective, an Executive Development Plan, evidence narratives, and an agency-relevant impact project.

Who Should Attend

GS-13 through GS-15 leaders, senior managers, new executives, and serving SES members seeking structured continuing development.

Program Details

  • Total program time: 40 hours
  • Delivery: Instructor-guided cohort: 8 online + 32 live hours
  • Instructor: ADR Academy / Guno O. Ritfeld and approved faculty, as assigned
  • Passing standard: 80 percent plus all required work products
  • Certificate: Issued after all completion requirements are verified

Learning Outcomes

  • Assess executive readiness and create an evidence-based Executive Development Plan.
  • Apply the five current OPM ECQs to enterprise decisions and leadership evidence.
  • Lead people, resources, coalitions, change, crises, efficiency, and measurable results.
  • Complete an executive impact project charter and readiness portfolio.

Delivery and Completion

  • Complete all eight modules and eight required applied work products.
  • Pass every module knowledge check and the final assessment with at least 80 percent.
  • Satisfy the active online-learning time and submit the course evaluation.
  • Complete 32 instructor-led hours, required participation, role play/capstone, feedback, and instructor evaluation.
