Program Description

The Paralegal Certificate Program offered at the ADR Academy is a National Association for Legal Support Professionals (NALS), ALP Partnered School. The program is accredited for 3  Semester Hours In Legal Studies by the American Council On Education (ACE).  The Academy is accredited by the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) making the program an absolute benefit for our graduates.
 
The program curriculum is designed to equip students with a strong foundation of legal knowledge and the ability to apply this knowledge to a variety of practical tasks required of the profession. As legal professionals, paralegals are able to interview clients, perform legal research, and draft and analyze legal documents.

Develop and practice skills to find answers and problem solve through experiential learning

Develop and practice critical thinking skills through writing assignments

Develop practical litigation, transactional, and technology skills, and create a framework for continued learning in the workforce

Develop a framework for the knowledge, skills, and ethical obligations of the paralegal profession

The total cost of courses is $2150.00.
Payment for intended courses must be paid in full at the time of registration. Installment plans are available.

Financial Assistance

Federal financial aid is not currently available for the Paralegal Studies Certificate Program.  However, you can apply for a private student loan here.

Job Training Assistance

If you have been laid off due to poor economic conditions, company closure, or mass layoff, you may be eligible to receive free career development training.

Course Schedule

The instructor and participants will actively engage in in-person discussions and lectures, and utilize ADR Academy’s learning management system on a weekly basis. The instructor and students are required to actively engage in discussions, lectures, and presentations.

Each course will meet once a bi-week on a designated weeknight within the program term.

Course Descriptions

In order to earn your Certificate in Paralegal Studies, you must complete each of the required 18 units with a grade of “70%” or higher. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: Students considering this course should email registrar@adraceu.com to obtain approval and placement assistance. This approval should be obtained before the students’ program start date.
 
Prospective participants must be a high school graduates or equivalent or higher.
